Starting today, New Yorkers will be flocking to Randall's Island for Governor's Ball '13. This year's lineup is pretty cool, except I don't know any of the bands ... Actually, I really have no clue. I'm just tagging along with my artsy fartsy hipster-y friends that listen to this genre of music. It'll be fun, except it's raining cats and dogs right now. So, I guess I'll be sport'n some Pacific Northwest gears and an umbrella to this event that is 100% happening.
Here are some of the artists I'll be looking forward to:
1.) Kings of Leon
2.) Pretty Lights
3.) Beach House
4.) Young the Giant
5.) Local Natives
Whaddayaknow, I guess I know a few of the bands :)
After tonight's fun, I'll be heading to LAX for my lovely friend Tina's Bachelorette Party. Excited for this fun filled weekend!
